Welcome

Montrose Primary is situated in Aylestone in Leicester City.  We have 420 children on full-time roll who are taught in 14 classes. The school benefits from modern buildings and a beautiful outdoor environment, including a large field and many opportunities for outside learning.  Our school is a very special place.  We pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming atmosphere and our absolute commitment to meeting the needs of every child.  Our aim is to personalise learning so that all are enabled to succeed to their fullest potential, regardless of background, ability or need.  We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring a solid foundation of skills in maths, reading and writing and building upon this with a rich, dynamic and inviting range of learning opportunities.  Our governors, senior leaders, teachers and support staff are fully committed to ensuring the highest quality learning environment and experiences for our children.  We would be delighted to welcome you to our school should you wish to visit us in person and see what we have to offer.
