Suggested Books for Year 1

 

Year 1 children love to listen to stories and really enjoy picture books that you can share with them.  Some children are able to read simple books to themselves.  Many of the books below available to borrow from the 'Pork Pie' or 'Leisure Centre' libraries (free of charges and fines).  Your child's teacher will also be able to recommend books if you need any help.
