Montrose School

Suggested Books for Foundation Stage

At Montrose, the Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception) caters for children who might have only just turned three to those who are nearly six years of age.  Subsequently you will need to consider the age of your child when selecting which ones to read.  Many of the books are available to borrow from the local 'Pork Pie' or 'Leisure Centre' libraries (free of charges and fines).  Your child's teacher will also be able to recommend books if you need any help. The Nursery and Reception classes also run a weekly library.
